GOULDS WATER TECHNOLOGY
Aquavar e-ABII
Goulds Water Technology (GWT), a Xylem brand, introduces the Aquavar® e-ABII, pump controller with extended hydraulics for low-water residential and commercial applications. The updated controller is designed for municipal water district customers with low water pressure, or those drawing water from a storage tank and want continuous water pressure, even when demand is high. The refreshed controller is also ideal for light commercial applications that have larger pump motor sizes and above-ground boosters. NETZSCH PUMPS NORTH AMERICA, LLC
Nemo® BF Progressing Cavity Pump with Asynchronous Bridge Preventing Module
The aBP-Module® is made up of a hopper extension with two spoked wheels attached to its internal sides. Sitting deep inside the hopper and very close to the walls, the turning wheels generate the effect of moving hopper walls, which creates a shearing effect in the medium. This shear effect tears the bridges apart in the early stages of formation, so the mix can be conveyed continuously. The structured surface of the stainless steel wheels further supports this effect and assists agitation in the hopper. The middle of the chute remains free, and the fill level can be assessed at any time and readjusted if necessary. For more information, visit www.pumps-systems.netzsch.com/en-us.
ASHCROFT, INC.
Accessories for Pressure Instruments
Ashcroft® Inc. manufactures gauges, thermometers, switches, transducers, transmitters, data loggers, calibration equipment, and isolators for pressure measurement, monitoring, and control. Ashcroft has introduced a line of stainless steel valve and manifold accessories for use in pressure instrument installations. A new pressure limiting valve, gauge valve, and multi-valve manifolds are available in several configurations to bleed, isolate, or equalize pressure. FLUID COMPONENTS INTERNATIONAL
SIL 2 Compliant FS10i Flow Switch/Monitor
Designed for industrial processes, manufacturing operations, pumps, compressed air, gas compressors and HVAC systems requiring flow assurance and alarming, the compact SIL 2 compliant FS10i Flow Switch/Monitor from Fluid Components International (FCI) sets a new standard for superior performance and highly reliable operation. Wherever detection and user warning of a flow rate that is either too high, too low or a no-flow condition is required, the FS10i Flow Switch/Monitor is the solution. In air, gases, water or other liquids, its independently rated SIL 2 compliance ensures a highly reliable flow sensing instrument for repeatable and fast-responding flow trip point or alarm warning within seconds. R+W COUPLING TECHNOLOGY
LP Series Disc Pack Couplings
R+W Coupling Technology has taken big steps in improving and broadening its range of the maintenance free disc pack couplings. The LP series is a backlash free coupling that is driven through pure friction force. The connecting flanges are pressed to the disc pack faces using high strength bolts. This means that, when properly assembled, the torque is transmitted purely through the disc pack and no additional stress is placed on the bolt shanks, providing more even stress distribution and increasing reliability. Finite element analysis was completed in order to verify that this new design is more robust and reliable than its predecessor. For more information, visit www.rw-america.com.
GREYLINE INSTRUMENTS INC.
ISM 5.0 Sensor
The ISM 5.0 accurately measures flow of conductive liquids in full pipes. It installs through a tap in the pipe wall and works on a wide range of pipe sizes. The dual-electrode sensor and continuous auto-zero function provides high accuracy–even at low flow rates. The ISM 5.0 sensor can be easily installed in new pipe systems or by hot tap in pressurized pipes with flowing liquids. There are no moving parts so obstruction to flow and pressure drop is minimal. Installation through a full port ball valve allows easy retraction and reinsertion without shutting down flow. For more information, visit www.greyline.com.
