Vesconite, the market leader in high-performance marine and industrial polymers, has opened an office in New Zealand. This expands the company’s distribution network to nine locations across the globe. Eddie Swanepoel, technical sales representative, will head the facility.

“Eddie is the perfect choice for leading our New Zealand office,” said Dr. Jean-Patrick Leger, CEO. “He has over a decade of technical and sales experience with our polymers in the marine, industrial and agricultural markets.” The New Zealand office joins Vesconite locations in Argentina, Australia, Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, UAE, UK and the US.

Self-lubricating Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube are the ideal marine bearing material. They have no stick-slip, don’t swell in water and provide a wear life ten times that of bronze. The polymer machines to +/-0.001″, making it perfect for applications with tight tolerances, whether a 16′ ski boat or 1,200′ ULCC. Originally conceived for use in muddy underground mines, it excels in dirty conditions that leave other bearing materials prematurely wearing parts.
