Proteus™: The Intelligent Chemical Metering Pump
Proteus™ intelligent chemical metering pumps are engineered to meet today’s most demanding standards for accuracy, reliability, and process control flexibility. These pumps feature enhanced performance and process control capabilities built on a universal technology platform with the ability to adapt as technology evolves.
Milton Roy designed the Proteus series from the ground up based on valuable feedback received from treatment plant maintenance, operators, and industry experts. Available in two control configurations, Proteus pumps were specifically designed to meet the requirements of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment.
Proteus metering pumps feature a mechanically actuated diaphragm to handle low flows, with rates as low as .006 gallons per hour, up to 18 gallons per hour, with turndown capabilities of 1,000:1, with +/- 1 percent steady state accuracy. Proteus pumps can handle a wide range of chemicals, polymers, viscous fluids, and slurries without being affected by changes in discharge pressure.
Proteus pumps offer a new level of intelligence and control. They can communicate with digital or analog devices to administer a variety of control schemes and remote connectivity enables control and feedback in real time. A newly designed backlit color display allows for convenient navigation in five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese. The Proteus pump provides everything you need to assure you have complete control of your process. The pumps also feature a universal power supply to provide maximum process control flexibility.
Consider the value of installing a Proteus metering pump when making updates to your equipment. The Proteus pump series offers field-proven dosing technology, a state-of-the-art technology platform, and an easy-to-use navigation system all backed by authorized industry experts to support you long after the installation.
