Cook Compression has opened a new service center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The fully equipped facility, staffed by a team of highly skilled technicians, will be fully operational beginning July 7. Cook Compression service centers offer comprehensive cylinder-end repair, reconditioning, replacement, and upgrade services for all major reciprocating compressors. The work performed at this facility includes repair and replacement of packing cases, valves, ring and rider bands, pistons and piston rods, cylinder refurbishment, and more. When needed, the Corpus Christi service center can leverage Cook Compression’s global engineering and technical resources to help maximize equipment availability, lengthen its lifespan, and enhance performance.

“The Corpus Christi center reinforces our mission to provide localized, expert support that helps our customers maintain peak compressor performance and reliability,” says Jerry Shotts, general manager of U.S. service operations. “By expanding our footprint, we’re making it easier for operators to access the high-quality service and engineering excellence.”

Located to serve the Eagle Ford Shale region, the center is part of Cook Compression’s growing network of facilities dedicated to compressor performance improvements.
