At the heart of the BN Series is Tsurumi’s exclusive Smashing Cutter Mechanism. A unique heart-shaped suction cover works together with a semi-open channel impeller and extended rotating guide to capture, crush, and shred solids and long fibrous materials before they can accumulate around the impeller or obstruct downstream piping. This innovative design helps minimize clogging while providing smooth, reliable pumping performance.

The BN Series also incorporates proven Tsurumi technologies that enhance durability and simplify maintenance, including an anti-wicking cable entry, oil-lubricated dual silicon carbide mechanical seals, Tsurumi’s exclusive Oil Lifter, built-in thermal motor protection, an automatic air release valve, and a back pull-out design for easier service.

Field installations have demonstrated the BN Series’ ability to significantly reduce clogging and maintenance requirements.
