Yaskawa’s DriveWorksEZ improves customization by eliminating a PLC and simplifying wiring, including an integrated braking transistor.

Additional features include a speed search sync-up with free-wheeling motors at start and stall prevention and torque limit—plus, the GA501 meets global standards (UL, CUL, CE, TUV, RCM) and supports all major networks.
QUICK INSTALLATION AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Operators can choose from six embedded Ethernet protocols for your controller with a simple on board DIP switch, which reduces installation time with spring tension-type I/O wiring, and dual-port Ethernet connection points as well as embedded functional safety (STO: SIL3, PLe).
Additionally, the GA501 industrial AC microdrive makes use of side-by-side mounting, bottom cable entries, cage clamp terminals, an included DIN rail attachment up to 7.5 horsepower, and an optional multi-line LCD operator display. Users will also find that the DriveWizard mobile app and PC software make for easy and convenient setup.
NO POWER? NO PROBLEM!
Using DriveWizard Mobile, it’s possible to program the GA501 without any power supply connected, even while the drive is still in the box. Simply plug into one of your PC’s USB ports or any USB On-The-Go device, start programming, and enjoy the ease of commissioning.
