Smith and Loveless Inc. announces that President Frank J. Rebori has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Hydraulic Institute (HI), the largest association of pump manufacturers and suppliers in North America and a global authority on pumps and pumping systems.
Rebori was formally installed during the organization’s 2026 Annual Conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, where new officers and board members were appointed to guide the Institute’s leadership through 2029. He joins the HI Board as one of three newly appointed directors beginning three-year terms, helping shape the organization’s strategic direction as it continues advancing pump technology, standards development and industry education. He previously served on the board from 2014-2017.
Rebori’s appointment reflects his long-standing involvement in the water and wastewater industry and his commitment to advancing pump standards, performance guidelines and technical collaboration. As a member of the Board of Directors, he will contribute to initiatives that strengthen best practices across the pump industry while supporting the development of technical resources and advocacy efforts for manufacturers, engineers and end users.
