KROHNE
OPTISONIC 7300 Universal Ultrasonic Gas Flowmeter
Krohne is completing its portfolio of gas meters, ranging from compressed air to custody transfer applications for natural gas. The OPTISONIC 7300 provides an economic solution for gas flow measurement in process and auxiliary measurements in oil and gas refineries, the chemical and the petrochemical industry, and is the measurement of choice for non-custody transfer natural gas applications. It also provides benefits to many other applications such as (compressed) air, mixed gas, steam, or flue gas. The OPTISONIC 7300 provides calculation to standard conditions by using the input of temperature and pressure sensors which can be directly connected to the device. HAYWARD FLOW CONTROL
NVA Series Needle Valves
NVA Series Needle Valves now include CPVC and PVDF materials. With these additional materials to the line, the NVA Series increases the range of applications and services where they can be used, be it higher temperatures or high purity. The NVA Series is a patent pending design with all thermoplastic construction that stands up to the most demanding of applications. They are ideally suited for the fine regulation of flow that is required in instrumentation and laboratory work. Typical applications or installations include, but are not limited to, water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, hi-purity systems, food and beverage, and aquatic and animal life support systems. METALFAB
APB Volumetric Belt Feeder
Designed for highly accurate +/- 1 to 1.5 percent metering of all types of powders, pellets, and agglomerates, the APB is exceptionally well suited for feeding of abrasive or friable materials and materials that have a tendency to smear or compress when being fed by a volumetric source feeder. It is also ideal for the high volume requirements of the chemical and food industries. For more information, call 800.764.2999, email sales@metalfabinc.com, or visit www.metalfabinc.com.
EATON
DCF-3000 Mechanically Cleaned Filter
The superior filtering performance of the DCF-3000 filter reduces product loss and provides a more thorough contaminant purge in a highly concentrated waste stream. The DCF-3000 filter also eliminates or minimizes the need for disposable filter bags and cartridges, which reduces operator handling, inventory costs, and landfill waste. The filter can handle a wide range of filtration needs, including demanding applications that filter thick liquids such as paper coatings, ethanol, machining coolants, detergents, petroleum-based greases, adhesives, hot fry oils, ink, and chocolate. MINNESOTA RUBBER AND PLASTICS
Quinton™
Minnesota Rubber and Plastics developed Quniton™ to meet a market need for a high-performance lubricious product with permanent, low coefficient of friction (CoF) surface properties. Quniton™ is suitable for a variety of applications in markets such as water, power, transportation, medical, and pharma. Quniton™ is designed to have a low CoF, and resists bonding or sticking to a wide range of materials. Relative to other materials, Qunition™ is only a fraction of the CoF values. This is true for other common seal materials such as EPDM or Silicone as well. Lower CoF has many benefits, including enhanced product lifespan due to reduced wear and abrasion. In manufacturing operations, Quniton™ has unique properties that mean less surface preparation requirements and faster assembly. For more information, call 952.927.1400 or visit www.mnrubber.com.
SENSAPHONE
1800™ Monitoring System
Sensaphone® has upgraded its 1800™ monitoring system with a new keypad display and enhanced audio output. The system provides cost-effective, 24/7 remote monitoring of environmental conditions at unattended water treatment operations. The internal rechargeable battery backup provides twenty-four hours of continuous monitoring and alerts in the event of a power outage. Operators can obtain the status of each monitored condition at the installation site or remotely by telephone. The 1800 system is easy to install and operate, but if assistance is needed, free technical support is available. For more information, call 877.373.2700, email sales@sensaphone.com, or visit www.sensaphone.com.
